The beryl's : semi - precious stones
|

The word glare is probably a derivative of the old
Greek word for beryl, "berullos", which means crystal. We all
admire the green light of an emerald and its blue magnetism
blue-green, but very few people realize that they are colors
different from same mineral: the beryl. Others much less known of
the family of beryl is the beryl without color or "goshenite",
which is of this family of stone. There is also the pink morganite
and the color also fishes known "heliodor" like gilded beryl.
Finally, there are the red beryl which are rare and the green
beryl which is a version of the blue-green.
Most popular of other beryl's is probably the morganite which is of
pink color pastel fishes or with the lavender. It was discovered
in California in 1905 and later in Madagascar. There are also
deposits in Russia, Brazil, Mozambique, Namibia and Afghanistan.
